Last Minute Reminders

Hello Sultan Families -
 
Here are some last minute reminders for the last two weeks of the school year:  
June 6 - Senior BBQ (dring school)
June 6 - Senior Awards Night (6:00)
June 8 - Family Night - PTSA is joining up with Santana Peace Council to hold a Family Night! The movie "Bully" (rated PG-13) will be playing and it is free to all Santana Families! We hope you will take this opportunity to spend time with your students!
June 12 - Block Day (1/7, 3, 5) set day for finals.  
June 13 - Block Day (2, 4, 6) set day for finals.
June 14 - Block Day (1/7, 3, 5) set day for finals. 
June 17 - Block Day (2, 4, 6) set day for finals.
June 18 - Minimum Day (Last day of school)
June 18 - Graduation (6:00 pm)
June 20 - Grad Night - We only have 10 spots left so hurry up and reserve your spot today.  Paperwork can be found in the office.  Grad Nite includes round-trip transportation to Magic Mountain, an all-you-can-eat buffet, all rides, dance venues and much more. Grad Nite will be held June 20th starting at 6 pm, returing back to Santana around 8:30 am on June 21st. DONT MISS OUT!

I have really enjoyed being your President for the last two years and look forward to supporting Darlene as your new PTSA President in the fall!  I hope you and your families have a wonderful summer!

Officers for 2012-13 PTSA Executive Board -The 2012-13 Executive Board is as follows: President - Lori Fentress, Secretary - Tonnia Frakes, Treasurer - Gina Jackson, Auditor - Charlie Shively, VP of Membership – Yvonne Bauman, VP of Ways & Means – Michelle Herrera, VP of Awards – Margie Threet, VP of Grad Nite – Leanne Preihs, VP of Parent Ed – Josie Gerry, Historian - Brandi Vesco, Parliamentarian – Becca Webster, Website Coordinator – Donna Killian.

Lots of Activities

Teacher Supply Day - This event has been a great success the past few years.  So, we are going to hold two this year.  Our first supply day was on Back to School Night.  Thank you so much to those who participated. 

Spirit Wear Sales

We are selling Sultan Spirit Wear! We currently have black hooded sweatshirts with SHS embroidery, and purple blankets with Santana Sultans and logo embroidered. Both blankets and sweatshirts are $25 ($5 additional for plus sizes). Please E-mail or call us to order yours today.

PTSA Hosts a number of different program events throughout the year including, Teacher Supply Day, Honor Roll Assembly, Parent Education Events, Senior Scholarships, Back To School Teacher Breakfast, Grad Nite, Testing Support, Teacher Appreciation Week and much more. Please join the PTSA and show support for the great programs that we host each year.

PTSA has already been busy this school year with purchasing teacher supplies, getting ready for the Staff Welcome Back Breakfast, and planning a year of great activities.  Contact us to see what you can do to help us make a difference at Santana.
