MORP: Flashback to the 70’s with this year’s MORP dance!  The dance will be held on Friday, April 24th in the gym from 7-11:00 pm.  Wear your grooviest clothing (bell bottoms, afros, platform shoes, peace signs, flowers, disco balls, etc.) and join the Junior Class in a Friday Night Fever you won’t forget.  Tickets are $10 with an ASB card, $12 without, and $15 at the door.  Tickets will go on sale starting this Monday at lunch.  This is the last non-formal dance of the year so be sure not to miss it.

ATTENTION STUDENTS: Need to request a transcript for college or a scholarship?  You can now place your request online.  Please visit our website under “Guidance” to place your order.  This is the easiest and most efficient way to place an order for official transcripts.

CHEER: There will be a pre-tryout parent meeting on April 22nd at 6:00 pm in room S-1.  This is open to parents/guardians of incoming freshmen and current SHS students.  Cheer clinics will be held May 11-14 and Cheer tryouts are May 16th.  Please visit the cheer website at shscheer.teamopolis.com.

ATTENTION SULTANS! The Santana Pom Dance Team is having auditions for JV and Varsity teams on May 2nd 2015.  Go to the website at www.santanadanceteam.com for an audition application or see Mrs. Wilkerson at lunch in the office for more information.  Spots are filling fast so be sure to get your application filled out, get cleared, and we will see you on May 2nd

CALLING ALL SULTANS: Do you like graphic design, or photography? How about capturing action sports or events? Or maybe you like talking to people and getting the inside scoop. If so consider joining the Yearbook staff. We are accepting applications for the fall now. Visit room 501 or go to the school website, under the student tab select the Yearbook link and apply online.

YEARBOOKS are on sale now for $95 at the finance office payable by cash only, or on the sultan store. We sold out last year, so get yours soon!

THE CLEAN WATER CLUB is sponsoring a Beach Cleanup on Saturday, the 25th at La Jolla Shores.  Come to earn Community Service, or just to help improve the environment.  The cleanup will begin at 9:00am and your effort will be rewarded afterward with a Barbecue.  You can pick up a flyer with more info and the required permission slip from Mr. Henning or at the Clean Water Club meeting at lunch on Wednesday in room S-8.

THE SULTANS OF SWING ARE ON FIRE.  Andy Cornish, Hunter Reynolds, Brian Spicher, Josh Fentress, Matt Emory, and Mark Kitten went 3 and 0 this week defeating Monte Vista, Mount Miguel, and monumental victory over Helix by 5 strokes.  Josh Fentress sealed the victory over Helix with a personal best round of 41.  These guys are undefeated in league play with just two matches remaining.  Wish them luck as they pursue a league championship.

ART CLUB: Good morning and attention all Art Club members! Attend next Tuesday's meeting in room 703 at lunch so we can finalize screen printing t-shirts and work on our paper-based artwork. See you all there! New members always welcome.

If you're signed up or would like more information about the trip, come to next Friday's meeting @ lunch in room 705. We will talk about fundraisers for the trip and the year long process of preparing for the trip!!  See you then!! Ciao!
