THINK, PLAY, CREATE: The Library’s Think, Play, Create Corner is now open. We have a variety of board games and card games that rely on luck and strategy, projects to create, and crafts to have fun. A special shout out to Mr. Santana and his 4th period students who helped get the lettering for the corner up and running. They turned out amazing. Stay tuned for details on our first monthly Creative Craft offered in April hosted in the library by our art teachers, Mrs. Rowland and Mrs. Elliott.

NEED A SUMMER JOB THAT STARTS IN THE SPRING? The YMCA is training and hiring lifeguards now. Go with a friend! For only $25 you can get fully certified and start working at your local YMCA: Cameron YMCA, Davis YMCA, or any of our county wide locations. Come to the main office today for a postcard with more information.

ATTENTION JUNIORS: If you ordered a class shirt, they will be in next week. If you missed your chance to buy a shirt, you can buy one from Mrs. Elliott in room 702. Limited supplies, so get them while you can.

POWDER PUFF: Attention Junior and Senior girls. Are you ready for some football? That’s right; Powder Puff is just around the corner. If you are a junior or senior girl and have an athletic clearance, you will be eligible to play for your class team. Don’t worry guys, we have a way for you to participate as well. We need junior and senior boys to shake their pompoms and cheer on their teams. So any juniors and seniors that want to participate, there is a mandatory meeting on Wednesday, March 22nd in room 702 at lunch. Again, this is a mandatory meeting.

ASVAB RESULTS: Congratulations to the 140 Santana students who successfully completed the ASVAB Career Exploration exam. Your results will be available Tuesday, March 21 during periods 1 and 2. If your last name falls between A-L report to room 803 period 1, M-Z report to room 803 period 2.

CONGRATULATIONS: The Santana Winterguard took first place in their class last Saturday at the Mira Mesa Winterguard Show. Way to go Sultans! If you would like to see them in action, they are performing March 19th at West Hills starting at 11:00 am. Tickets are $10.
