ATTENTION SENIORS: Tuesday, April 7th you will have an opportunity here on campus to apply to Grossmont and/or Cuyamaca Colleges and reserved your spot to take the admissions assessment for math and English placement later that week.  A representative will be here to assist you in the application process on Tuesday, and on Thursday, April 9th she will be back to administer the online assessment in our library for those who sign up.  Space is limited, so make sure you get your ticket for the assessment.  The test will take approximately 3 ½ hours.  If you think you meet the English and math exemption criteria and would like to avoid take the assessment, you can bring in your proof on Tuesday for the rep to clear you.  Even if you are not sure where you are going to school this fall, it is a great idea to complete the free application and take the assessment which are extremely important for priority registration to pick your classes.  Don’t miss out on this opportunity.

TRAVEL CLUB: By the time you get this message, we will be on our 2nd day in beautiful Costa Rica.  However, it’s not too late to sign up for next year’s trip to Italy and Greece.  The trip is already filling up fast, so don’t miss out on the trip of a lifetime.  See you when we get back.

CONGRATULATIONS to the boy’s and girl’s track teams for their wins against Grossmont yesterday.  First place finishers:

Janice Deguerio – 800 and 1600 m

Victoria Hilke – long jump and pole vault

Kelsey Wason – triple jump

Brianna Kruis – high jump

Way to go tracksters!

THE SULTANS OF SWING ARE ON FIRE!  Brian Spicher, Josh Fentress, Hunter Reynolds, Matt Emory, Jacob Hampson and Mark Kitten have helped contribute to the 3 and 0 start in league play with a huge 16 stroke victory yesterday over the defending champions El Capitan.  The low scoring machine Andy Cornish has extended his astounding medalist streak to 8 consecutive matches with a low score of 38 vs. El Cap yesterday.  Awesome job…keep those low scores coming!

SULTAN TENNIS - Congratulations to the Purple Tennis Nation as they won their 7th straight match last night at Valhalla.  Our men in purple are undefeated in league at 3-0 and 9-2 overall.  Last night’s heroics belonged to Senior Captain Tyler Hodges who won all 8 of his matches and the epic efforts of doubles team Dean Wedeking and Anthony Parras who also won 3 tough matches.  Your coaches are proud of your growth and effort.  Come see coach Lelevier at the end of your school day today to get your spring Break practice schedule.

BOYS LACROSSE: Please report to the side of the gym today at break for your yearbook picture team photo.
