STUDENT BULLETIN:

HOMECOMING: It’s about time!  Homecoming is finally here and ASB has so much in store for you today!  Today seniors will be voting for Homecoming King and Queen.  Come to the assembly to see who’s on court.  From 3:30-6:00, ASB and Cheer will be hosting an Alumni Food Truck even at the baseball field.  The event is free, so bring your appetite.  Homecoming floats will be afloat at 6:30 before the varsity game at 7:00.  We are playing El Cajon Valley.  It’s sunny, but there is a 100% chance of Purple Rain tonight so you might want to bring an umbrella.  The Homecoming King and Queen will be announced during halftime followed by a fireworks show.  The Homecoming Dance will be in the gym from 8:30-1100.  Today is your last chance to get reduced ticket prices.  Tickets are on sale at the finance office for $10 or $8 with an ASB card.  Buy them today because they will be $12 at the door.  Next Friday, October 30th we will be playing our neighbors barking down the street, West Hills.  Come support your Sultans and join us for a Super Sultan Pep Rally in the large quad next Friday at lunch.  There will be games, prizes, music, and some spooky sultan spirit where everyone can get involved.  Wear your Purple Rain shirts to the game to show your school spirit.

MULTICULTURAL WEEK is coming and we are looking for assembly performers.  If you know how to do a cultural dance and would like to dance in the assembly on your own or in a group, please see Mrs. Spenny in the guidance office.  We are looking for dances from all different cultures.

THE JV PURPLE TENNIS NATION has had a busy week of tournament play.  We were represented in both the singles and doubles championship match.  In singles play, Allie Noon made a fantastic run to get to the finals.  She lost a tough match at the end, but did get 2nd place.  In doubles, we had 2 teams make the semi-finals.  Gabriella Gonzales and Allison Velasquez took 2nd place and took out the #1 seed in the tourney.  Asa Cook and Hailey Duncan played well and finished in 4th place.  Way to go girls.  See you at lunch.
