Student Bulletin:

The Class of 2016 is hosting a fundraiser November 3rd from 11-midnight at Buffalo Wild Wings.  Come have some yummy wings and support the class.

Interested in getting community service experience?  Enjoy volunteering?  Come to Key Club in room S2 this Thursday at lunch.

‘Twas a long time ago, longer now than it seems in a place perhaps you’ve seen in your dreams.  Come join Disney Club Tuesdays at lunch in Mr.               Reilly’s room.  We’ll talk about the Disney trip fundraising.

Do you find kangaroos fascinating?  Have you always wanted to cuddle with a koala bear?  Well, do we have the answer for you.  We still have 3 female Aussies that are looking for homes for 10 days in January.  Santana has had a long standing tradition of establishing international friendships with the Australian students that come every year.  If you have never given it a try…this is your year.  Come see Mr. Lelevier in room 308 for more information.

Looking for part time work?  East County Alignment is looking for someone to file and type in the afternoon.  Please contact Kevin at 562-4110 if you are interested.

Tonight at our big Santana vs. West Hills game the Leo Club will be selling freshly baked chocolate chip cookies.  The proceeds from the sale of the cookies will help a baby boy named Vaughn continue his fight against brain tumors.  Come and “Fight with Vaughn”.  Cookies will be sold 2 for a $1.

Attention students – Peer mediators are here and available for you.  This year’s mediators are Brielle Wilkerson, Tara Kyne and Deanna Aguiar.  They can help you resolve conflicts between you and someone that you are having a disagreement with.  They are also available if you just need another student to talk to.  So, if you need help resolving issues between friends, you can grab a request slip in any classroom or in the guidance office.

Congratulations to the cross country team for their multiple successes at the Mt. Sac Invitational, the largest cross county meet in the world.  Over 580 teams competed.  Our 10th grade boys finished 2nd, 10th grade girls finished 3rd and our 9th grade boys finished 3rd.  Individual medalists were:  Jamie Macdonald, Karen Cruz, Matt D’Angelo, Austin Ross, Zane Moore, Vincent Velletta and coming in 1st, Janice Deguerio.

Sultan Readers!  Remember we meet every Friday in the library at lunch to share and discuss our latest reading adventures.  Remember to get to the library ASAP today as we have our guest speaker, Mr. Johnson, joining us to share our mutual love of literature.
